Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of material on this website. Continuing to browse Crittenden County Criminal History signifies acceptance; anyone who disagrees should stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website is unaffiliated with government. It and its advertising partners do not provide tools for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions, or for any other activity regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The site's role is limited to identifying Crittenden County and Kentucky record resources; it is neither a consumer reporting agency nor a private investigation service.

1. What This Website Is

This is an independent private reference site, not a government service. It neither stores official records nor retrieves histories, submits filings, or conducts official checks.

Its content routes readers to the Crittenden County Sheriff, Kentucky courts, Kentucky State Police repository, Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry, and outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on an agreement not to:

  • Use site information to threaten, stalk, or harass a person
  • Make employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions from site content
  • Interfere with service performance or another visitor's access
  • Deploy scrapers, bots, or other automated collection tools
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
  • Violate federal, Kentucky, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No site or linked-tool information may be used to intimidate, harass, stalk, threaten, or discriminate. Kentucky places particular limits on misuse of Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry data; KRS 525.070 and 525.080 can apply to harassment directed at a listed person. Registry information supports safety awareness and never authorizes vigilantism or discriminatory action.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Its information and linked tools may not be used to:

  • Evaluate an applicant for employment or continued employment
  • Assess a renter or housing application
  • Set insurance terms or judge creditworthiness
  • Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or public benefit
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated decision

A lawful check for a regulated purpose must come from an authorized Kentucky State Police process or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

General explanations of Crittenden County records are not legal advice and cannot determine how a warrant, charge, conviction, or expungement law affects an individual. Seek advice from a Kentucky-licensed attorney.

6. No Warranties

All material is supplied "as is," without a promise that:

  • Outside search results will be accurate or complete
  • Every page is current, complete, and error-free
  • Operation will remain uninterrupted
  • The service contains no bug or security weakness

Charges, dispositions, seals, and expungements can change a record after publication. Site content may therefore lag the official file and must never be treated as a statement from a court, sheriff, or other agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links to government pages, legal resources, and commercial search services lead to systems beyond our control. Their availability, prices, content, and data practices are their responsibility; review their own terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, code, and logos belong to Crittenden County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or adapted without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for harm arising from site use, linked services, or reliance on information found through either.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, demands, and proceedings caused by your site use or breach of these conditions, including related legal expenses.

11. Governing Law

Kentucky law governs these terms. A dispute arising from site use must be brought in a court located in Kentucky.

12. Changes to These Terms

Revised conditions may be posted at any time and become effective upon publication on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or terminated at any time, with or without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in force, and the affected language is modified only as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be directed through the Contact page.
